SKINVIVE

What is SKINVIVE?

SKINVIVE™ is a first-of-its-kind dermal filler FDA-cleared to hydrate skin, improve the texture of cheeks, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, SKINVIVE doesn't reshape your face, rather, it uses the power of hyaluronic acid to help skin look refreshed and glowing for up to six months. This treatment delivers microdroplets of hyaluronic acid to your outer layer of skin for a supercharged boost of hydration.

FAQs

  • After consultation, the treatment session typically takes about 10-15 minutes, with minimal to no downtime. You should avoid alcoholic beverages, strenuous exercise, and exposure to extensive sun and heat for the first 24 hours after treatment.

  • During your consultation, ask your provider about numbing options—especially if you are sensitive to needles— because there may be minor discomfort during and after the treatment. SKINVIVE contains lidocaine to reduce injection site pain, but your provider may also choose to numb the treatment area with a topical or injected numbing agent to further minimize discomfort. Ice may be applied for a brief period following treatment to minimize swelling and reduce pain.

  • SKINVIVE provides results over the course of six months, without requiring a recurring series of treatments. Not only that, 84% of subjects were satisfied with how healthy their skin looked at one month, and 83% at six months (in comparison, only 38% of subjects felt this way pre-treatment). Overall, patients reported how glowing, hydrated, refreshed, and healthy their skin looked after treatment.†

†As measured using the Satisfaction with Skin module of the validated FACE-Q questionnaire. Glow was reported by patients using a validated questionnaire that included satisfaction with how radiant their skin looked.

  • While individual results may vary, results may last for six months.

  • For the first 24 hours after treatment, avoid alcoholic beverages, strenuous exercise, and exposure to extensive sun and heat (as these may cause temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the injection site). Consult with your provider for further aftercare guidance.
